Work ethic for job
So after getting some qualifications I finally got a job in my field. It’s an entry level help desk role. The only thing is, I’ve been either let go or fired from every job I’ve had except 1 and that job blatantly told me to my face that they were never going to promote me. This job is a fresh but I don’t want to fall back on any bad habits that made me lose other jobs i.e. being late, not showing interest with work, weaponized incompetence (not figuring something out in hopes that another employee will or I won’t be tasked with it. I’ve never had a work ethic. What might some things I could start doing to show I’m a valuable employee and pass my probation period? I have a really good Lana record collection, including the red UO Honeymoon and coke-bottle Lust for Life… the only record I’m missing is Paradise and although I could buy it online I would really love to see an alternative artwork or coloured record version!
I’m not sure if these exist as I can’t find any online so I’m wondering if she’ll rerelease anniversary editions at some point. And I wonder what these would look like too… 👀
